French Filmmaker and Screenwriter Pierre Sauvage spoke at UW-Madison on Tuesday, April 15 2008 at the Wisconsin Historical Society Auditorium.

The Consul General of France in Chicago, Mr. Jean-Baptiste de Boissière awarded the prestigious Palmes Académiques to Professors Caitilyn Allen, Donald Waller, and Harvey Jacobs on March 27th. Following the ceremony, the Consul General delivered a talk on Franco-American relations to students and faculty at Ingraham Hall. Ms. Rispal, who overseas the French Cultural Services headquartered at the French Consulate in New York, met with students and faculty from numerous departments engaged in French Studies.
