Chateaubriand Scholarship

The Chateaubriand Scholarship Program, named after the eighteenth century French writer, is a prestigious fellowship awarded annually by the French Government to about 20 American doctoral candidates. The award, which is designed to foster Franco-American academic partnerships and relationships, allows dissertators to conduct research in France.
